of the Interrelationships between the Federal Aviation Administration and the
City of Santa Monica Regarding the Operation of the Santa Monica Airport

will present a report discussing how the various divisions within the Federal
Aviation Administration interrelate with the operation of the Airport for
information and discussion purposes.
c) Presentation of Air Traffic Control and Flight Track Procedures
for

and FAA the Air Traffic Manager of the Santa Monica Control Tower will present
and discuss the various aspects of air traffic control procedures at

General information items, announcements, and consideration of future
agenda items from Airport Commissioners.
Commissioner Grossman: Creation of a future agenda item that looks
more in depth into the use of portable noise monitors to capture noise events
and compare that data to the data being generated by the 5 permanent monitors.
9) Written Communications / Request to Speak (Public Comment Permitted)
Items submitted to the Airport Commission,
through the Airport Director prior to preparation of the agenda, are heard at this portion of the meeting.
Only the person presenting the communication may speak. Maximum time permitted for proponent to address the
Commission is 10 minutes, unless more than one item is submitted in which case the commission shall have the
discretion to reduce the maximum time to 5 minutes.
