Accounting & Records |
Both the Accounting and Records Management of the airport are handled by the airport's front office.
In order to handle your request properly, you should contact the Airport's Business Assistant,
Stella Diaz at (310) 458-5435 or contact our Administrative Assistant at the main office number

Accounts Receivable
The Monica Airport is an is a self-sustaining enterprise fund and operates solely on
funds used from it's daily operations. Whereas many airports across the country
use tax monies levied from local city or county funds, Santa Monica Airport is able
to maintain its operation through accounts receivable revenues from sources like
ground rent, leased office space, tie-down & hangar rents, fuel flowage fees,
landing fees, percentage of gross operating fees and overnight parking fees to name a few.
 |
Operators receiving a bill from the Santa Monica Airport
can contact the main airport number at (310) 458-8591 and ask
to speak with Accounts Receivable.

Records Management
The California Public Records Act (PRA) gives private citizens
greater access to government information. With some exceptions,
the PRA considers all records maintained by most local agencies
to be public records, but also recognizes the right to individual
privacy.
 |
The Santa Monica Airport maintains most of its public records
on-site. Requests for access to such airport records should be
submitted to the City Clerk's Office and/or the City Attorney's
Office.
You may also view a copy of an agenda item presented to
the Santa Monica Airport Commission regarding access to
public records and other airport information.
