Water Safety Instructor Certification Course

 
The purpose of this instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety courses. To officially enter the course, you must:

- Front Crawl    
- Back Crawl    
- Sidestroke    
- Breaststroke    
- Elementary Backstroke    
- Butterfly (10 yards)

Fees:  Residents $120          Non-Residents $130
 

Classes take place at the Santa Monica Swim Center 2225 16th St. Santa Monica, CA 90405

In order to receive your certification you must:

· You must attend  all classes to pass this course.

· In addition to attending all classes, you must also pass all skill tests and score 80% or  better on written exams.

 

Participants must attend each day for the entirety of each class.
