Lifeguard Course |

Persons 15 years or older are eligible to participant in this
American Red Cross Program to become certified Pool Lifeguards.
|

What you will be certified in |
|
Students will learn Lifeguard Rescue Skills, First Aid, and CPR.
Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive
American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguard Training,
CPR for the Professional Rescuer,
AED Essentials,
Oxygen Administration,
and Title 22.

What to know |
|
Class Prerequisites:
Participants must be at least 15 years old,
able to swim 300 yards (12 lengths of a 25
yard pool) without stopping, using the front
crawl and breast stroke and able to retrieve
a 10 lb weight from 7 feet then swim 20
yards with the weight using legs only.
Requirements for Successful Completion:
Students
must attend all classes to pass this
course. In addition students must also
pass all skills tests and score 80% or
higher on all written exams.
What to Bring:
Swim suit, towel, pen or pencil, lunch
or lunch money.
