Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Santa Monica Commission on the Status of Women will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 beginning at 7:00 PM, to discuss the following business:

A.           Video Presentation on Latina Youth Conference - Commissioner Ramos

 

 

B.           Report on the Child Care Task Force and discussion about COSW participation in monthly Task Force meetings

A.           Discussion, and possible action to recommend candidates for City Council appointment to the COSW. – Chair Evans

 

 

B.           Discussion and possible action to select COSW alternates for representation to the Association of California Commissions on Women (ACCW)

 

C.      Continued planning, discussion and possible action on the Commission’s priority projects for FY 2002-03, including a demographic report on the status of women in Santa Monica and the work life survey of Santa Monica employers.

 

D.      Discussion and possible action related to updating the Domestic Violence

Brochure.

A.              Discussion and possible action related to anti-abortion banner plane incident.

 

B.              Discussion and possible action related to planning a social activity for COSW.
