Cultural Affairs Division

Enlivens the cityscape with public art and cultural opportunities.

Works to encourage the participation of artists in the life of the community. Promotes and operates cultural venues including the Annenberg Community Beach House, Miles Playhouse and the Civic Auditorium.

Responsible for social services including recreation, education and community programs that address the needs of infants,  children, teens, families, people with disabilities, seniors, victims of domestic violence and low-income individuals, including those who are homeless.
