Exploring Creative Santa Monica
|
|
We've got the
Battle of the Art Fairs in Santa Monica this weekend -
which is much more interesting than the Battle
of the Network Stars, something I fear we'll be
seeing soon if the strike continues. ART LA
takes place at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium and the
LA Art Fair at the Airport's Barker
Hangar and you'll be overwhelmed at the amazing variety
of excellent art at both of these internationally renown
events. Also don't miss the opening night party for the
new exhibition at Santa Monica Museum of Art!
On Saturday Jacaranda continues its
series honoring some of the most overlooked composers of
the 20th Century. Then, get the kids out of the house
- and out of the rain - on Sunday by taking them to the
McCabe's children's concert!

The opening reception for the
first of the exhibitions, PATRIOT ACTS and
THE HABEAS LOUNGE, will be held on Saturday,
January 26th, 2008, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
