The Los Angeles area's only sustainable "green" garden tour could only take place here in the greenest city in Southern California and it's here on Saturday!  The tour's proceeds support the Virginia Avenue Project, a Santa Monica agency which offers free performing arts and tutoring programs that nurture local children growing up under difficult circumstances. The Green Gardens Tour is a celebration of what is beautiful, and possible - and together with the Project, helps to sustain our planet - one kid and one garden at a time.

With the support of Santa Monica's Environmental Programs Division, the tour balances aesthetics with knowledge, emphasizing modern green ideas of garden beauty.  If you don’t get a chance to buy your tickets in advance, pick them up on Saturday beginning at 9:30am at the tour's starting point, at 301 Marguerita Avenue, in Santa Monica. The single ticket price on the day of the tour is $40.
