Exploring Creative Santa Monica

September 13, 2007
Last weekend was a whirl of color and light as I tramped from one gallery to the next making awesome discoveries at each stop.  There's nothing like a gallery opening to awaken your enthusiasm for art.  This week we've got performances, film, and a special talk by a legendary writer/director/playwright.  Say Hola to cutting edge new works at Highways' Latino New Works Festival or watch luminous dance mixed with music and film on the Pier tonight.  The temperature may be getting lower every weekend, but the art scene never really cools down in a city like Santa Monica!
