ALIAS SANTA CLAUS
Santa Monica Playhouse

A pioneer family, a blustery night and a stranger named Nick add up to a heart-warming holiday musical about friendship, family, the spirit of giving and the joy earned from kindness to strangers. It's the heart-warming Rudie-DeCarlo holiday classic, a musical comedy about a jolly, bearded stranger who shows up for a visit one cold December eve in the late 1800's. The last three performances for this year will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 2:00.  Visit their website http://www.SantaMonicaPlayhouse.com for more information or call 310/394.9779 x 2

There are three more chances to see She Loves Me at the Humanities Center at Samohi - Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm and a Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm. This charming musical is a perfect holiday treat! Click here to buy your seats online or call 310/395.3204.

Operatic Fairy Tale at the Library

Little Red Riding Hood
Santa Monica Main Library

On New Years Eve, the Guild Opera Company's Little Red Riding Hood will be performed at the Santa Monica Main Library in the Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium on Saturday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. This delightful short opera, set to the classic fairy tale, is a perfect vehicle to introduce children to the enchanting world of opera. And not only will they learn about opera, they will also learn to listen to their elders, do their homework, and not speak to strange wolves!

Have a great holiday season and we'll see you in 2009!
