Comprehensive Park Signage & Wayfinding Update

Concept designs for improved signage and wayfinding in Santa Monica's parks are complete. The design incorporates key elements of the Santa Monica's graphic identity, while respecting the unique character of individual parks. Similar to Santa Monica's iconic street signage, the new park signs will feature single color white lettering, a modern sans serif font, the 'Bay Symbol' logo and use of yellow as an accent color. The plan includes a family of sign types and alternative color palettes. The City is working with Hunt Design on the project. New signage will be piloted at Douglas and Clover Parks.
