| The Airport Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the Municipal Airport and |
| to aviation matters generally to the extent that they affect the City. |

| The Commission shall have power and be required to: |

| The Airport Commission has five members. The Commissioners serve a four-year term. |
| Commissioners must be qualified electors of the City of Santa Monica and may not hold paid office or |
| employment in the City government. (SMCC 1015) Pursuant to Section 2.32.280 of the SMMC - no |
| Santa Monica City employee may serve as a member of any Board or Commission. |
