 6-A:  Approval of City Council minutes of May 2, May 9, and  May
       16, 1989.                                                 

 6-B:  Ordinance for adoption  and second reading  amending Santa
       Monica Municipal Code Sections 3393A, 3393B, 3393C, 3393D,
       3393E,  and  3393F  and  repealing  Municipal Code Section
       3393G, increasing  parking  meter  rates  and  authorizing
       parking  meters  to  be  placed  on  various City streets,
       introduced May 23, 1989.                                  

 6-C:  Ordinance for adoption and second reading amending Section
       2651  of Santa Monica Municipal  Code regarding powers and
       procedures for issuance  of revenue bonds,  introduced May
       30, 1989.                                                 

 6-D:  Resolution setting a public hearing for July 11, 1989,  on
       the assessment  of  costs  to  repair  damaged  sidewalks,
       driveways, and curbs on various streets (SR-89-140/141).  

 6-E:  Resolution authorizing execution  of grant of  easement to
       Southern  California Edison  Company for  the construction
       and  maintenance  of  electrical  facilities  at   Gunnell
       Aviation, 3000 3lst Street.                               

 6-F:  Resolution   approving   Supplement   No.   13   to  Local
       Agency/State Agreement 07-5107 for the installation of new
       traffic  signals  and  upgrading  of  existing  systems at
       various locations.                                        

 6-G:  Recommendation to authorize City Manager to negotiate  and
       execute an agreement with PacTel Cellular for the lease of
       a 2,500 square  foot section of  property at the  Charnock
       Water Well Field.                                         

 6-H:  Award  of  Bid  No.  2218  to  Pacific  Sun Maintenance at
       specified unit prices to provide janitorial services for a
       one-year period for the Transportation Department.        

 6-I:  Award of  Bid No.  2219 to  Associated of  Los Angeles  at
       specified unit prices to furnish and deliver wire markers,
       nipples,  nut  locks/wire  and  miscellaneous   electrical
       supplies for various departments.                         

 6-J:  Award of  Bid No.  2220 to  Associated of  Los Angeles  at
       specified unit  prices  to  furnish  and  deliver  circuit
       breakers,  ballasts,  fuses  and  miscellaneous electrical
       supplies for various departments.                         

 6-K:  Award of Bid No.  2223 to Brandon Industrial  at specified
       unit   prices  to  furnish  and  deliver  bushings,  caps,
       couplings, plugs and elbows for various departments.      

 6-L:  Award  of  Bid  No.  2224  to  Bay  Area  Pipe & Supply at
       specified unit  prices to  furnish and  deliver galvanized
       nipples at specified unit prices for various departments. 

 6-M:  Award of Bid No. 2230  to Southland Lumber and Supply  Co.
       at specified unit prices to furnish and deliver lumber and
       lumber supplies for various departments.                  

 6-N:  Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to  negotiate
       and  execute a contract with Moore, Iacofano & Goltsman to
       prepare the Santa Monica child care master plan.          

 6-O:  Recommendation to authorize City Manager to negotiate  and
       execute  contract  with  Turbo  Data  Systems,  Inc.,  for
       processing in-state parking citations.                    

 6-P:  Recommendation to approve  Santa Monica College  fireworks
       display  for their "Grand Summer Nights" concert series on
       July 1, 1989, July 29, and September 9, 1989.             

 7-A:  Public hearing  on assessment  of costs  to repair damaged
       sidewalks, driveways and curbs (SR-89-136/137).           

 8-A:  An  emergency  ordinance  for  introduction  and  adoption
       extending moratorium on  residential  development  in  the
       area  bounded  by  Ocean  Avenue,  14th  Street,  Wilshire
       Boulevard, and Montana Avenue.                            

 8-B:  Ordinance for introduction and first reading  establishing
       Program 10 conditions.                                    

 8-C:  Ordinance for adoption  and second reading  amending Santa
       Monica Municipal Code Section 6621  to  impose  a  tax  on
       interstate  and  international  telephone   communication,
       introduced May 23, 1989.

 8-D:  Ordinance  for  introduction  and  first reading regarding
       development agreement  with Santa  Monica College  for the
       construction of two parking structures, and  certification
       of Final Environmental Impact Report for the project.     

11-A:  Recommendation to approve solid waste management plan  and
       adopt resolution  revising fees  charged for  general city
       sanitation services,  sanitation bin  rental and  roll-out
       services.                                                 

11-B:  Recommendation  to   adopt  resolution   increasing  sewer
       service charges and consideration of bonding option to pay
       for Hyperion capital improvement costs.

11-C:  Recommendations regarding operation  of Marine Park  Child
       Care Center.                                              

11-D:  Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to  negotiate
       and execute an  agreement  with  Los  Angeles  County  for
       lifeguard services.

11-E:  Request for Closed Session for the purpose of  considering
       personnel   matters  and  threatened  litigation,  pending
       litigation and litigation to be commenced by the City.  (A
       list of pending  litigation  cases  to  be  considered  in
       Closed Session is posted on the Council Chambers door  and
       is on file with the City Clerk.)                          

13-A:  Request of Stephan  Tompkins to address  Council regarding
       waiving  Auditorium's rental fee  for Reggae/African event
       and permission to alter the parade route.                 

13-B:  Request of Suzanne  Abrescia to address  Council regarding
       landlords late payment of tenant relocation assistance.   

13-C:  Request of Paul Worthman to address Council regarding  MEA
       proposal.                                                 

14-A:  Request  of  Mayor  Zane  to  discuss  City sponsorship of
       conference on storm drain solution.                       

14-B:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss developing a program  for
       zero-net sewage growth.                                   

14-C:  Request of Councilmember Katz to discuss opposition to  SB
       1402 (Campbell)  which denies municipalities  the right to
       regulate aircraft maintenance operations and set liability
       insurance requirements for aircraft maintenance.          

14-D:  Request of Councilmember Jennings to discuss relocation of
       homeless to City Hall.                                    

14-E:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss adoption of a  resolution
       supporting   S11  (Cranston)   and  HR780   (Levine),  the
       California Desert Protection Act.                         

14-F:  Request of Mayor Zane for approval to use budgeted  travel
       funds  to attend  July 21-22  conference sponsored  by the
       Center for Innovative Diplomacy.                          

14-G:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss waiving of fee for use of
       Council  Chambers by Santa Monica YMCA on the first Friday
       evening each  month from  October, 1989  through February,
       1990.                                                     

14-H:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss waiving of fee for use of
       Council Chambers by  CLARE  Foundation  for  two  days  in
       September.                                                

14-I:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss waiving retroactively fee
       for use of Council Chambers by State Lands Commission June
       7, 1989.                                                  

14-J:  Request of  Councilmember Reed  to discuss  appeal of  the
       denial  of St.  Monica's Parish to hold  Octoberfest 10- K
       Run.                                                      

14-K:  Request  of  Mayor  Zane  to  discuss  an  invitation   to
       Participate in  the  National  League  of  Cities  Housing
       Conference  in  Chicago  on  Friday,  June  30,  1989, and
       request for Council allocation of travel funds.           

14-L:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss County proposals to  move
       D.P.S.S.  General Relief Service from the Westside, and to
       discontinue Out-patient Medical  Clinic for the  medically
       indigent from the Burke Health Center.
