 6-B:  Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to  negotiate
       and execute an  easement agreement  for an  outdoor dining
       area with OAB Corporation, DBA I Cugini Restaurant at 1501
       Ocean Avenue, continued from November 14, 1989.           

 6-C:  Recommendation to  contribute City  funds to  American Red
       Cross Disaster Relief Fund.                               

11-A:  Recommendation to direct the  City Attorney to prepare  an
       ordinance  extending   the   moratorium   on   residential
       development in  the area  bounded by  Ocean Avenue  to the
       west, 14th  Street to the east,  Wilshire Boulevard to the
       south and Montana Avenue to the north, and an ordinance to
       amend the zoning  ordinance,  implement  the  construction
       rate and management  program, continued from  November 14,
       1989.                                                     

11-B:  Request for Closed Session for the purpose of  considering
       personnel   matters  and  threatened  litigation,  pending
       litigation and litigation to be commenced by the City.  (A
       list of pending  litigation  cases  to  be  considered  in
       Closed Session is posted on the Council Chambers door  and
       is on file with the City Clerk.)                          

13-B:  Request of Brandon MacNeal,  on behalf of the  Main Street
       Assessment District,  to  address  the  Council  regarding
       panhandling and filming on Main Street and the Main Street
       Parking Structure, continued from November 14, 1989.      

13-C:  Request of  Joseph P.  Sole to  address Council  regarding
       housing development, continued from November 14, 1989.    

13-E:  Request  of  Leonard  M.  Kuras  to  address  the  Council
       regarding   The  Coalition   of  Santa   Monica  Homeless,
       continued from November 14, 1989.                         

14-A:  Request of Mayor Pro  Tempore Finkel to discuss  directing
       the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance creating a Peace
       and Ecology Commission, continued from November 14, 1989. 

14-F:  Request  of  Councilmember  Katz  to  discuss having staff
       return with an  amendment  to  zoning  ordinance  changing
       donut shops from "retail" to "fast food."                 

14-G:  Request of  Mayor Zane  to discuss  strategies to  protect
       older  homes in residential areas which may be historic or
       cultural resources, including a possible moratorium on the
       demolition of pre-1940 buildings.                         

14-H:  Request of  Mayor Zane  to discuss  examination of setting
       residential   height  limits  by   reference  to  adjacent
       buildings.                                                

14-I:  Request  of  Councilmember  Genser  to discuss Main Street
       Parking   Structure  and  to  postpone  its  environmental
       review.                                                   

14-J:  Request of Councilmember Katz to discuss waiving fees  for
       use of Civic Auditorium  by  the  Vineyard  Fellowship  on
       Thanksgiving Day.
