 5-A:  Request of  Mayor Zane  to discuss  Rent Control  reforms,
       continued from May 15, 1990.                              

 6-A:  Approval of City Council minutes of May 1 and May 8, 1990.

 6-B:  Ordinance for adoption  and second reading  amending Santa
       Monica  Municipal Code Section 4922 to prohibit smoking in
       City Hall, introduced May 15, 1990.                       

 6-C:  Resolution approving a Final Subdivision Map for Tract No.
       19007  for a 4  unit condominium project  at 245 Hollister
       Avenue.                                                   

 6-D:  Resolution approving a Final Subdivision Map for Tract No.
       21561 for a  4  unit  condominium  project  at  1217  24th
       Street.                                                   

 6-E:  Resolution approving a Final Subdivision Map for Tract No.
       21568  for a 4  unit condominium project  at 1630 Berkeley
       Street.                                                   

 6-F:  Resolution approving a Final Subdivison Map for Tract  No.
       47516 for an 8 unit condominium project at 650 Pacific.   

 6-G:  Resolution authorizing submittal of a grant application to
       the  Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging for FY1990/91
       funding for  the Senior  Nutrition Progam  and authorizing
       City   Manager  to  negotiate  and  execute  contract  for
       provision of services.                                    

 6-H:  Recommendation to award a contract to Bryant Organization,
       Inc., in  the amount  of $554,515  for the  replacement of
       roofs  and  flashings  at  the  Main  Library  and   Civic
       Auditorium.                                               

 6-I:  Award  of  Bid  No.  2271  to  Unicorn  Express Company to
       furnish and deliver  hot meals  at the  rate of  $2.28 per
       meal, and Bid No. 2272 for frozen meals at $2.33 per  meal
       for the Senior Nutrition and Recreation Program.          

 6-J:  Award of Bid No. 2273  to Santa Monica Ford in  the amount
       of $20,188.56  to furnish and deliver  one cab and chassis
       with  2-cubic  yard  dump  body  for  the Street Division,
       General Services Department.                              

 6-K:  Resolution  approving  an  alternate  parade route for the
       Kid's Day Parade and recommendation to approve the request
       for a Kid's Day fireworks salute at the Santa Monica Pier,
       on Saturday June 2, 1990.                                 

 6-L:  Recommendation to adopt findings for denial of CUP 89-046,
       TTM   48039,  to  permit  the  construction  of  a  5-unit
       condominium at 1253 11th Street.                          

 6-M:  Recommendation to award contract to Pizazz Construction in
       the amount of $38,000 for the purchase and installation of
       commercial laundry units at various Fire Stations.        

 6-N:  Ordinance for adoption  and second reading  establishing a
       hardship   procedure  for  reducing  mitigation  fees  for
       removal of low cost lodging accommodations established  by
       Ordinance Number 1516(CCS), introduced May 8, 1990.       

 6-O:  Resolutions changing the  additional business license  tax
       levied   in  the   Montana  Avenue   Business  Improvement
       Assessment area  and the  assessment levied  in the  Third
       Street   Mall  (Third   Street  Promenade)   and  Downtown
       Assessment District.                                      

 6-P:  Resolution  of  City  Council  declaring  its intention to
       change  the additional business license  tax levied in the
       Montana Avenue Business Improvement Assessment Area.      

 6-Q:  Review  of  City   Council  study  sessions   on  proposed
       FY1990/91 City Budget.                                    

 7-A:  Public hearing  on the  Community Development  Block Grant
       (CBDG) funding  for Fiscal Year 1990-91,  and to approve a
       resolution   authorizing   submission   of  the  "Proposed
       Statement  of  the  Community  Development  Objective  and
       Projected Use of Funds," to the U.S. Department of Housing
       and Urban Development.                                    

 8-A:  Ordinance  for  introduction  and  first  reading   adding
       Chapter  6 to Article V of the Santa Monica Municipal Code
       to  regulate  the  manufacture,  distribution,  sale   and
       recycling of products which use ozone depleting compounds.

 8-B:  Emergency ordinance amending the provisions of Chapter  2A
       of Article VII of the Santa Monica Municipal Code relating
       to water conservation.                                    

 8-C:  Ordinance  for  introduction  and  first reading repealing
       existing  Chapters 1, 2, 2B  and amending various sections
       of Chapters  3A, 4,  7, 8  and 9  of Article  VI of  Santa
       Monica Municipal  Code and adding new  Chapters 2, 2B, and
       3B to Article  VI of Municipal  Code relating to  business
       license taxes and regulatory restrictions.                

 8-D:  Ordinance for  adoption and  second reading  authorizing a
       hardship  exception   to   Ordinance   Number   l507(CCS),
       regarding north of Wilshire, introduced May 8, 1990.      

 8-E:  Ordinance  for  adoption   and  second  reading   amending
       Ordinance  Number 1486(CCS)  to extend  Program 10  of the
       Housing Element to apply to conversions and changes of use
       as well as demolitions, introduced May 15, 1990.          

10-A:  Recommendation of Housing  Commission to adopt  resolution
       supporting  Proposition 107 "Housing and Homeless Bond Act
       of 1990."                                                 

11-A:  Request for Closed Session for the purpose of  considering
       personnel   matters  and  threatened  litigation,  pending
       litigation and litigation to be commenced by the City.  (A
       list of pending  litigation  cases  to  be  considered  in
       Closed Session is posted on the Council Chambers door  and
       is on file with the City Clerk.)                          

12-A:  Appeal of Planning  Commission denial of  a CUP 90-021  to
       allow  the issuance of an  on-sale General Alcohol License
       for  a  117  seat  restaurant/pub  at  301  Santa   Monica
       Boulevard.   Applicant/Appellant:  Victor Wichman and Alan
       Boivin.                                                   

12-B:  Appeal of Planning Commission  approval of DR 88-004,  CUP
       88-019, PSP 89-017  and EIR  916 for  a three  story mixed
       commercial building on Wilshire Boulevard between 22nd and
       23rd  Street.  Applicant:  Century  West Development, Inc.
       Appellants:  Save Our Neighborhood Committee and Mid  City
       Neighbors.                                                

12-C:  Reconsideration  of  an  appeal  of  Planning   Commission
       approval for CUP  89-072 and TPM  21640 to allow  a 4 unit
       condominium  at  1109  16th  Street.  Applicant/Appellant:
       Bijan Azadi.                                              

13-A:  Request  of  Michele  A.  Wittig  to  discuss a program to
       provide increased  access to shower,  laundry, locker, and
       job referral facilities for the homeless.                 

13-B:  Request  of  Paul  Rosenstein  to  discuss  proposals   on
       campaign financing reforms.                               

13-C:  Request of Nathan Pratt to discuss amending the low income
       inclusionary housing rules for new construction.          

14-A:  Request  of  Mayor  Zane  to  discuss  support  for  State
       Proposition  107 "Housing and Homeless  Bond Act of 1990,"
       continued from May 15, 1990.                              

14-B:  Request  of  Mayor   Zane  to  discuss   possible  Charter
       amendment to prohibit non-TORCA condominium conversions.  

14-C:  Request of Mayor  Zane to discuss  a Charter amendment  to
       prohibit demolition  of  multi-family  housing  without  a
       building permit for a replacement unit.                   

14-D:  Request of Mayor Zane to discuss the report of the Chamber
       of Commerce Task Force on Homelessness.                   

14-E:  Request of  Mayor Zane  to discuss  the appropriateness of
       Broadway as a one-way street.
