       execute  a professional services agreement for preparation
       of the groundwater study of the Charnock Sub-basin.

11-B:  Recommendation to approve the purchase of 2827 Lincoln/827
       Ashland  Avenue  with  Citywide  Housing  Trust  funds and
       authorize the City Manager to negotiate and  execute  loan
       agreements  with  McDonalds  Corporation  and the State of
       California and a Property Disposition agreement  with  the
       Community  Corporation of Santa Monica to develop 45 units
       of affordable housing and related commercial space.

       personnel   matters  and  threatened  litigation,  pending

12-A:  Reconsideration of an appeal of  the  Planning  Commission
       conditions of approval and CUP 90-005 to allow a five unit

14-A:  Request  of  Councilmember  Katz  to   discuss   potential

14-B:  Acceptance of letters of resignation  of  Tim  Miller  and
       Philip  Glusker from the Arts Commission and authorization
       to the City Clerk to publish a notice of vacancy.         

14-C:  Authorization to the City Clerk to publish  annual  notice
       of vacancies for the Pier Restoration Corporation Board of
       Directors for terms expiring November 13, 1990.           

14-D:  Authorization to the  City  Clerk  to  publish  tri-annual
       notice of vacancy on the Mosquito Abatement District.     

14-E:  Request of Councilmember Genser to  discuss  direction  to
       staff  to  investigate  the feasibility of an ordinance to
       prohibit the idling of vehicle engines  for  an  excessive
       period of time.                                           

14-F:  Request of Mayor Zane  to  discuss  creation  of  a  Peace
       Monument in Santa Monica.                                 

14-G:  Request of Councilmember Katz to  discuss  reconsideration
       of  the  all  day  parking meter charges on Sundays in the
       downtown area.                                            

14-H:  Request of Mayor Pro Tempore Finkel to discuss  resolution
       supporting an expansion of Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.
