       and  execute a contract with the Public Employees Benefits
       Services  Corporation  (PEBSCO)  to  administer the City's
       Deferred Compensation Plan, continued from June 11, 1991.

 6-Z:  Recommendation to award  contract to Landscape  West, Inc.
       in the  amount of  $75,515 for  the construction  of Ocean
       Park Boulevard Parkways Landscaping.

 6-A:  Recommendation to authorize the City Manager to  negotiate
       and  execute   an  Operating  Agreement   with  the  Santa
       Monica/Malibu  Unified  School  District  (SMMUSD) for the
       operation of the Marine Park  Child  Care  Center  for  FY
       1991-92.                                                  

 6-B:  Recommendation  to  award  contract  to Vicco Construction
       Inc.  in the amount of $644,970 for the 1990-91 Sewer Main
       Expansion Project on  The (Beach) Promenade  from Colorado
       Avenue to Pico Boulevard.                                 

 6-C:  Recommendation to authorize City Manager to negotiate  and
       execute an  amended contract with  Executive Parking, Inc.
       to operate l4 beach parking lots for two years.           

 6-D:  Authorization to  provide interim  financing for  a thirty
       unit  new construction affordable  housing project (Garcia
       Apartments).                                              

 8-A:  Ordinance  for  introduction  and  first  reading   adding
       Chapter  7 to Article V of the Santa Monica Municipal Code
       relating to  mobile source  air pollution  reduction fees,
       continued from June 11, 1991.

 8-B:  Ordinance  for  introduction  and  first  reading amending
       Santa Monica  Municipal  Code  Section  4922  to  prohibit
       smoking in  all City  facilities, continued  from June 11,
       1991.

 9-A:  Recommendation to  accept Santa  Monica Child  Care Master
       Plan and approve resolution  adopting  Child  Care  Policy
       Statement, continued from June 11, 1991.

       litigation and litigation to be commenced by the City.  (A
