5-A: Public hearing on the confirmation of assessment of costs
to repair damaged sidewalks, driveways, curbs and remove
damaged pavement in the parkway areas on various streets
(SR-93-188), continued from July 27, 1993.
5-B: Public hearing to establish an assessment district for the
reconstruction of 4th Court between Colorado Avenue and
Broadway, and 9th Court from Olympic Boulevard to 476 feet
north, continued from July 27, 1993.
8-A: Emergency ordinance for introduction and adoption
repealing Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 4.08.370 and
enacting a juvenile curfew provision.
8-B: Ordinance for introduction and first reading amending
Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 9.04.08.04.060
relating to building heights and standards in the R2R
District, (Text Amendment 93-003).
8-C: Ordinance for introduction and first reading amending
Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 9.04.10.02.170 and (a)
regarding unexcavated areas in front and side yards,
Section 9.04.10.04.060 regarding required landscape area
for building sites, Section 9.04.10.08.200 regarding
subterranean parking structures, and Section
9.04.10.08.210 regarding semi-subterranean parking
structures in all residential, RVC or BCD Zoning
Districts, (Text Amendment 93-004).
8-D: Ordinances for introduction and first reading adding a new
section to Santa Monica Municipal Code Subchapter 9.04.08
revising development standards in the R3 and R3A zones
along Ocean Park Boulevard between Lincoln Boulevard and
25th Street and revising the Official Districting Map,
(Text Amendment 93-005).
9-A: Recommendation to approve the 1993 Master Environmental
Assessment (MEA).
9-B: Request for Closed Session for the purpose of considering
personnel matters and threatened litigation, pending
litigation and litigation to be commenced by the City. (A
list of pending litigation cases to be considered in
Closed Session is posted on the Council Chambers door and
is on file with the City Clerk.)
14-A: Annual appointments of members to Board and Commissions,
continued from July 27, 1993.
14-B: Request of Mayor Abdo to discuss opposition to Assembly
Bill 51 concerning amendments to the state housing element
law.
14-C: Request of Councilmember Rosenstein to discuss
ration of Council procedures.
