                                              APRIL 20, 1993


An adjourned meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called
to order by Mayor Abdo at 6:40 P.M. on Tuesday, April 20, 1993,
in the Council Chambers.

Roll Call:        Present:   Mayor Judy Abdo
                             Councilmember Ken Genser
                             Councilmember Asha Greenberg
                             Councilmember Robert T. Holbrook
                             Councilmember Kelly Olsen
                             Councilmember Paul Rosenstein

             Also Present:   City Manager John Jalili
                             Acting City Attorney Joe Lawrence
                             Deputy City Clerk Analia Montalvo

                   Absent:   Councilmember Antonio Vasquez

Nancy Hill-Holtzman led the assemblage in the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

15.  PUBLIC INPUT:  Member of the public Joy Fullmer addressed
Council.

9-C.  CLOSED SESSION:  At 6:50 P.M., Council adjourned to Closed
Session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters.  No
action was taken.

ADJOURNMENT - At 10:45 P.M., the meeting was adjourned in memory
of Bea Hurd.
