11 -A:Recommendation to authorize staff to prepare a comment letter to the Federal Aviation
    Administration (FAA) supporting the termination of the Environmental Impact Study and the
    decommissioning of the proposed Localizer Directional Aid (LDA) instrument approach, as
    recommended by the Airport Commission, continued from December 12, 1995.

ACTION:   Public input received and filed. No action taken.

12, RESOLUTIONS: (Public discussion permitted.)
12-A:Resolutions authorizing the City Manager to execute Memoranda of Understanding with the
    Management Team Associates (MTA), Municipal Employees Association (MEA), Public
    Attorneys Union (PAU), Santa Monica Police Officers Association (SMPOA) and Supervisors
    Team Associates (STA), and to amend the Executive Pay Plan, continued from December 12,
    1995. (Considered after Closed Session.)
    ACTION:  Adopted Resolution Nos. 8973 (CCS), 8974 (CCS), 8975 (CCS), 8976
             (CCS), 8977 (CCS), and 8978 (CCS).

15, PUBLIC INPUT: (Public discussion permitted only on items not on the agenda that are within the
subject matter jurisdiction of the City.) Continued from December 12, 1995.
ACTION: Held. No action taken. City Manager to return to Council with report regarding
        taxi cab parking.
