                          CITY COUNCIL MINUTES

                              JUNE 7, 1995

An adjourned meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called
to order by Mayor Rosenstein at  6:07 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7,
1995 in the Council Chambers.

Roll Call:  Present:     Mayor Paul Rosenstein
               Mayor Pro Tempore Asha Greenberg
               Councilmember Judy Abdo
               Councilmember Ruth Ebner
               Councilmember Ken Genser
               Councilmember Robert T. Holbrook
               Councilmember Pam O Connor

    Also Present:   City Manager John Jalili
               City Attorney Marsha Jones Moutrie
               City Clerk Clarice E. Dykhouse

Councilmember Holbrook led the assemblage in the Pledge of Alle-

giance to the Flag of the United States of America.  

1995-96 CITY BUDGET STUDY SESSION:  Presented were 1995-96 budget
proposals by the following: Resource Management Department, City
Attorney, Environmental & Public Works Management Department,
Police Department and Capital Improvements Program.

15:  PUBLIC INPUT:  Members of the public Donna Westbrook, Brookie
Westbrook, Glenn Hiraoka, Colleen Carroll and Jim Donaldson
expressed their concerns regarding the airport.  No action was
taken.

ADJOURNMENT:  At 10:48 p.m., the meeting was adjourned.
