CC/HA/PA-2: Mid-Year budget review for FY 1995-96 and public
hearing to receive input on FY 1996-97 budget
priorities; resolutions of City Council, Housing
Authority and Parking Authority approving
technical adjustments to the FY 1995-96 budget.
ACTION: Approved. Adopted Resolution Nos. 8999
(CCS), 9000 (CCS), 68 (HAS), and 225 (PAS).
Staff to analyze discussion and return to City

Unscheduled vacancies (Resignations): Bayside District
Corporation (1), Housing Commission (1), Pier
Restoration Corporation (1)
ACTION: Jean Wyner was appointed to the Pier
Restoration Corporation for an unexpired term ending
November 9, 1997. John Gross was appointed to
the Pier Restoration Corporation for a full term
ending November 11, 1998. Linda Huizar and
Ralph Sanchez were appointed to the Social
Services Commission for full terms ending June
30, 1999. Bayside District Corporation, Housing
Commission and Personnel Board appointments were
continued to February 27, 1996.
14-B: Request of Councilmember Holbrook to discuss
directing staff to amend the Proposition R
implementing ordinance to allow in lieu fees for
offsite affordable housing units, continued from
February 13, 1996.
ACTION: No action taken; will be addressed in Housing
Element.
14-C: Request of Mayor Pro Tempore Greenberg to discuss the
number of vacant buildings in the City and the City's
policies regarding demolition of those buildings,
continued from February 13, 1996.
ACTION: Staff to analyze and return to Council with any
recommendations.
