A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

FEES AND SETTING NEW FEES FOR SERVICES
PROVIDED BY THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK

WHEREAS, the Office of the City Clerk recently
completed an analysis of all user fees charged by the department
for the purposes of updating fee amounts and thereby preserving
the public financing resources; and

fees charged by the City do not reflect full costs incurred in the
provision of related services; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Santa
Monica to charge for the full costs of these services provided by
City staff when such services benefit individual users rather than
members of the community as a whole.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Resolution Number 4889(CCS) is hereby
rescinded in its entirety.
