9-A: Recommendations to City Council regarding appeals of the Final Meritorious Sign List, and recommendation to City Council to reduce amount of time allowed to appellants to speak from ten minutes to three minutes; and Supplemental Report adding two additional appeals.

ACTION: Appeals upheld for Bay Area Muffler, Lares Restaurant, Jon Adams Hair Design, Santa Monica Radiator, Bairs Keystone Bodyshop, Galley (boat and mermaid), City Hall front door sign, Polly's Pies, Lazy Daisy, Bay Imports, Engler Brothers, Firestone, McCabe's Guitars, Evett's Model Shop, Interactive Café, Baskin Robbins, Sheet Metal Works, Boys & Girls Club, Shakey's Pizza, Ski Haus (rooftop and skier sign) and Sunlight Mission. Remainder of appeals denied.
