SUBJECT: An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Santa Monica Amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Sections 4.04.280 and 4.04.290 Relating to Dangerous Animals
Introduction
At its meeting on December 5, 2000, the City Council introduced for first reading an ordinance which would give the City's Animal Control Officers the power to deal with vicious animals other than dogs. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinance be adopted.
