MAY 28, 2002
A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Feinstein at 6:10 p.m., on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

CONVENE/PLEDGE
On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 6:10 p.m., with Councilmember Holbrook absent. Mayor Pro Tem McKeown led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance.
STUDY SESSION:
2002-2003 Budget Study Session Presentations:
The following members of the public addressed various budget proposals: Joey Fullmer, Pro Se, Rose Kendall, Chuck Allord, and Clifford Stern.
The City Manager and staff presented fiscal reviews for the following:

On order of the Mayor, the information was received and filed.
COUNCIL ITEMS:
CIVIC CENTER PLAN
13-A: Request from Mayor Feinstein and Councilmember O'Connor to schedule a City Council study session on the evening of Monday, June 3rd, to hear the presentation on plans for Santa Monica Place, that was originally scheduled to be presented to the Civic Center Working Group on the same evening, was presented.
Motion by Mayor Feinstein, seconded by Councilmember O'Connor, to approve request. The motion was unanimously approved by voice vote, with Councilmember Holbrook absent.
On order of the Mayor, the City Council recessed at 9:35 p.m., and reconvened at 9:55 p.m., to report on the following closed sessions:
