INTRODUCTION

This staff report recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a modification to professional services contract #7949 (CCS) with Cotton/Bridges/Associates for $32,480, resulting in a new total amount not to exceed $136,000.  This contractor is reviewing existing conditions and current land use regulations affecting automobile dealerships and will conduct a public process involving businesses and community and neighborhood organizations.  Their work will assist the City in preparing zoning code modifications for consideration by the Planning Commission and City Council.

BUDGET/FINANCIAL IMPACT

No additional appropriation is required with this recommendation as funds are currently available in account number 01266.555060 to cover the cost of this modification.
