Introduction

At its meeting on March 9, 2004, the City Council introduced for first reading an ordinance adding Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 9.04.02.030.778 to establish a definition of short-term rental housing and prohibiting this form of housing in the City. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.

Recommendation

It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinance be adopted.
