SUBJECT: An Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Santa Monica Amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Sections 11.04.040 And 11.04.100 And Adds Section 11.040.105 To The Municipal Code Relating To Campaign Finance Reporting Requirements

Introduction

At its meeting on August 3, 2004, the Council introduced for first reading an ordinance modifying the City’s Election Code relating to campaign finance reporting requirements. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.

Recommendation

Staff recommends that the Council adopt the attached ordinance.
