A regular
adjourned meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor
Bloom at 6:19 p.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2004, at City Council Chambers, 1685
Main Street.

On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at
6:19 p.m., with
all members present. Gordon Anderson, Assistant City
Manager, led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance.

2004 B 2005 Budget
Members of the public Jerry Rubin and Joe Natoli
expressed various concerns regarding the proposed budget.
Susan McCarthy, City Manager, and staff presented
fiscal reviews for the following:
Planning and Community Development
Community and Cultural Services
Big Blue Bus
Environmental and Public Works Management
On order of the Mayor, the information was received
and filed.
Member of the public Jerry Rubin discussed various
concerns.

approve a settlement in the amount of $62,500.
