On
June

8353(CCS) with Zimmer Gunsul Frasca for design of the Project in the amount not
to exceed $483,000. On October

Pedestrian Streetscape Project. The
original scope of work was enhanced to include structural soil for newly
planted trees and mid-block crosswalks. The
report discussed tree up-lighting and a funding source for design development
of the tree up-lighting was not identified.
Staff authorized design development of the
tree up-lighting using $28,000 from the existing design agreement. Additionally, due to delay in construction
from the ficus tree restraining order, costs for construction support design
services are anticipated to increase by $22,000. To accomplish this work, an additional authorization
of $50,000 is required.
