1.  CONSENT CALENDAR:  (All items will be considered and approved in one motion unless removed by a Councilmember for discussion.)

 

1-A:     Charnock Well Field Restoration Project - Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment for Construction – recommendation to:  authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a Guaranteed Maximum Price amendment to the Design-Build Agreement with Black and Veatch Construction, Inc., for construction of the Project in an amount not to exceed $48,000,000 plus a 10% contingency of $4,800,000, for a total of $52,800,000; authorize the City Engineer to issue any necessary change orders to complete additional work within budget authority; authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a professional services agreement with Converse Consultants for geotechnical inspection services on the Charnock Well Field Restoration Project in an amount not to exceed $204,545 plus a 10% contingency of $20,455, for a total of $225,000; authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a professional services agreement with Willdan Group, Inc., for deputy inspection and materials testing services on the Charnock Well Field Restoration Project in an amount not to exceed $320,000 plus a 10% contingency of $32,000, for a total of $352,000; appropriate $52,800,000 from the Charnock Fund Balance into Account No. C050878.589900; and appropriate $577,000 from the Charnock Fund Balance into Account No. C050878.589150.

7-A:     Second reading and adoption of an ordinance adding Section 6.104.055 to the Municipal Code extending massage technician permits for two months. (Introduced May 12, 2009).
