Reserve your space in
advance! The City
offers 3 great areas at
Airport, Clover and Marine
Parks. Each has a
nearby children's play area,
restrooms, parking, and
ample room for grilling and
grubbing! And all in a
wonderful park setting!
The permit
entitles you to 4-hour block
of time, from 11 a.m. to 3
p.m.
Requests can be made
from 21 to 3 days in advance
with proof of Santa Monica
residency ($50.) and from
14 to 3 days in advance
without proof of Santa
Monica residency ($75.).
Tables are marked and a
calendar is posted showing
the days that are reserved.
If not reserved, the area is
available on a first-come,
first-serve basis.

Proof of Residency:
In addition to a driver’s
license or government-issued
photo ID, one of the
following in the
registrant’s name is
required to verify
residency: current rental agreement,
mortgage statement, or
utility bill.
Plan a fun BBQ but remember that
alcohol, smoking, vending, inflatable
bouncers, and outside grills are not
allowed in Santa Monica parks!
Groups
of 150 or more require an Event Permit.
