
FILMING GUIDELINES
A permit is required for
filming in the City of Santa Monica.
All permit applications should be submitted
to the Film Permit Office at least 72 hours
before the first day of filming.
The
Filming Guidelines and Requirements
provide general information for obtaining a
filming permit in the City of Santa Monica.
PERMIT APPLICATION
Permit applications can
be completed at our office, by faxing the
completed forms to (310) 576-3598, or my
emailing your application to one of our

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
General liability
insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 is
required whenever you are filing in the City
of Santa Monica. Proof of insurance
must comply with the following requirements:

City of Santa Monica
is named as an additional insured.

Contains a 30 day
notice of cancellation provision (10
days for non-payment of premium on
certificate).

Certificate is
completed by your insurance company.
