A. Update on the Civic Center Specific Plan and the development of housing in the Village District – Discussion and possible actions on the status of the Civic Center Specific Plan; and, the Village development process and tentative schedule.

B. Update on the strategies to increase the City’s supply of new affordable units - Discussion and possible actions on the status of the City’s proposed Affordable Housing Production Program revisions and/or other City housing programs/policies.

6. NEW BUSINESS

A. Update on proposed staff presentation of homeownership approaches and/or products for August meeting – Discussion and possible actions related to the content for presentation of homeownership approaches and/or products at the August Housing Commission meeting.

B. Annual Election of Chair and Vice Chair – Nomination, discussion and election of Chair and Vice Chair of the Housing Commission.

Information on new and ongoing Housing and Redevelopment Division programs and future Agenda items. Updates on recent or future City Council actions, other City Commissions, and developments affecting housing in the region or in the City of Santa Monica.
