Santa Monica Police Activities League (PAL) is a citywide program especially for youth. We offer free fitness activities for youth ages 6 to 24 . The Pal Fitness Gyms and Boxing Ring are located in the Park Center.   Please stop by the Park Center lobby for more information on how to register.  Proof of age is required.

Beginning Karate for Ages 6-17
Want to learn the art of the self-defense?  Improve on your concentration, hand-eye coordination and strength.  Empower yourself while working on self-discipline and self-esteem.

Intermediate / Advanced Karate for Ages 12-17
Take your knowledge of the martial arts to the next level! Improved on self-defense, awareness, stress management and body relaxation.
Muay Thai Kickboxing for Ages 12-17
Learn self-discipline, self-confidence, respect and patience.  Develop body coordination, speed, balance, endurance and grace. Get physically fit, lose and maintain your weight.
Me & My Shadow
Youth are paired up with their mentor, guardian, or parent to learn basic martial arts principals together as a unit.
Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced Boxing
Improve on your speed, coordination and self-confidence with boxing.  Learn basic footwork and punches while achieving better balance and endurance.

CARDIO & FITNESS

Challenge your cardiovascular fitness level and core while getting an introduction to Hip Hop and Jazz dance with professional dancer, Tatiana Zamir.

Being fit is fun at PAL.  Play games that improve your speed, flexibility, and strength.  Learn how to eat healthy and enjoy nutritious snacks.  Come jump, roll, kick and run with us.
