PAL Receives $20,000 National Association of Police
Athletic Leagues Grant
Awarded for after school enrichment
classes, this grant will afford PAL Youth the
opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural
trips, enhanced Homework Assistance, sports (with
new equipment including new basketball uniforms!),
and arts and crafts programs ranging from hip hop
dance to digital photography. New classes to
be offered include fencing, skiing, yoga, ceramics,
jewelry making, and golf. The grant is made
available from the United States Department of
Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office of
Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
