9th Community Workshop on Gang Violence -
State Senator Sheila Kuehl gave our action partners
(including the California Employment Development
Department, California Youth Authority, Friends of
Sunset Park, Human Relations Council (Santa Monica Bay
Area), Los Angeles County Probation Department, Pico
Neighborhood Association, Santa Monica Chamber of
Commerce, Santa Monica College, Santa Monica-Malibu
Unified School District, Santa Monica Police Department,
and the State Building and Construction Trades Council
of California) until September 2005 to develop solutions
to the ideas presented at the workshop attended by over
250 people at John Adams Middle School. For more
