Located in the heart
of Santa Monica’s Pico Neighborhood, Virginia Avenue Park provides a
broad variety of educational and recreational programs, as well as
social services and employment assistance. Virginia Avenue Park
also has a 2.9 -acre open lawn area with a meandering
path, picnic tables, barbeques, two full size basketball courts, two
playgrounds and free Wi-Fi internet access.

supported with Prop A. Funds and are open to the public. Space is limited.

The High School and Middle School Programs are located
in the the 2101 building. The Teen Center includes a recording

after school programs are held. A large community workshop room is
also located in the Thelma Terry building.

The VAPAB advises City staff and provides the public with a monthly forum to
voice their comments on all aspects of Virginia Avenue Park. The board meets the
