Santa Monica Public Library Celebrates Harry Potter Books on July 30

Santa Monica Public Library presents a Harry Potter Extravaganza, featuring games, crafts, prizes, and much more, at the Montana Avenue Branch, 1704 Montana Avenue, on Saturday, July 30, from 2 to 4 p.m.

"Library staff and services aim to instill a love of reading and books in children.  J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series sparks imaginations and inspires children to tackle seven hundred-page books.  It's encouraging to see and it's cause for a celebration," says Ellen Braby, Coordinator of Youth Services.
