The Santa Monica Public Library will present "An Evening with Tab Hunter" on Monday, June 26, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.  

Join the Library for film clips, a special interview and audience Q&A featuring legendary Hollywood leading man Tab Hunter.  Mr. Hunter was the star of a number of memorable films, including Damn Yankees, Battle Cry, Ride the Wild Surf, Lust in the Dust  and Polyester.  He will be discussing his life, entertainment career, and recent autobiography, Tab Hunter Confidential: The Making of a Movie Star.  A book sale and signing will follow.

The interview and Q&A will be moderated by Dr. Chris Freeman.  In October, a book Dr. Freeman edited, Under the Rainbow: A Hollywood Memoir by John Carlyle, will be published by Carroll and Graf.  He teaches at the University of Southern California.
