Stitches from the Heart – Saturday,
August 5, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Knitting and crocheting club for people who want to provide handmade
items for as many children as possible. Bring your crochet hooks,
needles and left over yarn: it’s time to knit or crochet hats,
booties, blankets and sweaters. Patterns and light instruction will
be available on site.
Author Visit – Monday, August 7, 7:00
– 8:30p.m.
Local author and newspaperman George Garrigues knows how to write
and tell great stories. Come listen to a few of them on Monday
evening.

A monthly book discussion group, we like to read it all. This month
we will be analyzing and discussing The Tipping Point: How Little
Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcolm Gladwell

We are a monthly discussion group in partnership with the Santa
Monica's Cooperative Natural Grocer. We have covered everything
from Exploring Aging to Socially Responsible Investing. This month
we will learn about The Psychology of Dieting with Terry Masi.
