FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Santa Monica Public Library will present "An Evening with John W. Dean" on Thursday, October 12, from 7:00 to
9:00 p.m., in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601
Santa Monica Boulevard. A book sale and signing will follow Mr. Dean’s talk. John W. Dean, White House legal counsel to President Nixon for a thousand days, also served as chief minority counsel for the House Judiciary Committee and as an associate deputy attorney general in the U.S. Department of Justice. He writes a widely read bi-weekly column for FindLaw.com. This program is free and all ages are welcome. Tickets for Auditorium seating will be distributed in the Main Library’s courtyard lobby one hour prior to the event. One ticket per person, and guests will need to be on hand to receive a ticket. Seating is first come, first served. A live video feed of the program will be available in the Main Library’s Multipurpose Room for those unable to get an Auditorium ticket. All guests will be welcome at the book signing following Mr. Dean’s talk.
