Santa Monica, California – The Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to present “Forgive for Love,” a lecture featuring Dr. Fred Luskin, on Sunday, February 24, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., in the Main Library’s MLK Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

Dr. Fred Luskin is one of the leading researchers and teachers of forgiveness.  A practicing psychologist from Palo Alto, California, he is also the co-founder of the Stanford Forgiveness Project, a series of research studies that investigate forgiveness methods.  In his first book, Forgive for Good, Dr. Luskin shared his prescription for health and happiness—forgiveness—and provided readers with the tools to let go of feelings of hurt, helplessness and anger.  With his latest book, Forgive for Love, Dr. Luskin extends his philosophy of letting go of grievances to romantic relationships.

An audience Q&A and book signing will follow Dr. Luskin’s lecture.

Admission is free.  Seating is limited, and on a first arrival basis.  No reservations available.

For more information, contact the Santa Monica Public Library at (310) 458-8600; or visit the Library’s web site at www.smpl.org.
