Date: May 27, 2008 Contact: Robert Graves, Public Services Librarian, (310) 458-8635 Lauren Weisberger in Conversation at the Santa Monica Public Library Santa Monica, California – The Santa Monica Public Library is the place to be in June as best-selling author Lauren Weisberger drops by for an evening of conversation with fellow novelist Gigi Levangie Grazer on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd. Perhaps best known as the #1 best-selling author of The Devil Wears Prada and Everyone Worth Knowing, Lauren Weisberger is back with a delicious new novel, Chasing Harry Winston, about a trio of best friends in Manhattan who agree to change their lives in the most personal and dramatic way possible -- and within one calendar year. To celebrate the release of Chasing Harry Winston, Weisberger joins fellow novelist and friend Gigi Levangie Grazer (The Starter Wife) for an evening of lively conversation. A book sale and signing will follow. Admission is free. Tickets will be available one hour prior to event.
