       Tentative Tract Map to permit the construction of a 2
       story, 5 unit condominium over an 11 space subterranean
       parking garage accessed from the street.  (Planner:  L.

       ACTION: Approved.

8-B:   Conditional Use Permit 96-001, Text Amendment 95-003,
       2668 Second Street, OP2, Applicant: Eric Hanks,  Review
       of Amendment to the Ocean Park Low Multiple Residential
       District development standards (Section 9.04.08.50.040)
       to allow a surface parking lot for employee parking with
       approval of a Conditional Use Permit and request for
       approval of Conditional Use Permit 96-001 to permit a
       surface parking lot with four standard parking spaces,
       three compact parking spaces and one parking space for
       disabled people for a total of eight parking spaces. 
       Approval of Conditional Use Permit 96-001 is subject to
       City Council approval of the proposed amendment to the
       development standards.  The proposed surface parking
       provides parking for employees of the adjacent
       commercial space located at 2671 Main Street. (Planner:
       Susan Healy Keene)
       ACTION: Denied.

       Inclusion of the Santa Monica Beachfront and Coastal
       Park Improvement Project as a Specified Project.
       ACTION: Withdrawn.

12.    DISCUSSION

12-A:  Discussion of whether roof top dining development
       standards should be drafted to address noise, aesthetic,
       safety and other concerns.
       ACTION: No action.

12-B:  Discussion of Zoning and Sign Ordinance enforcement
       issues.
       ACTION: No action. 

12-C:  Discussion of whether the CM District provisions should
       be amended to allow limited entertainment uses under
       certain parameters.
       ACTION: Staff to return with draft amendment.
