The Ocean Park Boulevard "Green Streets" public
outreach phase is scheduled to last
approximately 18 months, during which time the
community will participate in crafting a concept
plan with City staff and consultants. As
the visions and ideas of the community become
more refined, a team of traffic analysts and
civil engineers will begin to test the emerging
plan for impacts.
A final concept plan will ultimately be
delivered to the City Council for adoption that
includes schematics, technical drawings and
associated recommendations.
Below are two project timelines dealing with the
process, the funding and the construction
schedule.

Because the Ocean Park project is a Capital
Improvement Project (CIP), the planning process
must follow the Council-adopted protocol for
review and approval. This requires staff
to review the preliminary concept plans with
Council prior to meeting with the City's Boards
and Commissions for additional input and
feedback.
