The Ocean Park Boulevard "Green Streets" public
outreach phase is in the concept development
phase, which is nearing completion. A
third and final community workshop is scheduled
for Tuesday, February 2nd 2010 from 6:30-9:00PM
at SMASH/John Muir Elementary School to present
the final design concept.
This final concept plan will ultimately be
delivered to the City Council for adoption that
includes schematics, technical drawings and
associated recommendations.

Because the Ocean Park project is a Capital
Improvement Project (CIP), the planning process
must follow the Council-adopted protocol for
review and approval. This requires staff
to review the preliminary concept plans with
Council prior to meeting with the City's Boards
and Commissions for additional input and
feedback.
