of all practices, Crane-Style Qigong, utilizes gentle, easy-to-learn
movement coordinated with breathing techniques to reduce stress,

T’AI CHI CH’UAN (8 weeks)
Energetic 48-movement version of Yang-Style Taiji, Chan Si Gong -
Chinese Silk Reeling & Qigong and Push Hands improves Physical Structure
and Movement, and promotes balance, health, self defense, moral fitness
and stability. We learn Gung fu and Internal Strength. The class
includes practicing with partners. Recent studies have shown that
following even a relatively short period of practice, T’ai Chi Ch’uan
can increase immunity to disease, decrease stress and help one’s
balance. $10 materials fee due to instructor at first class.

without increased exertion. Nordic Walking takes fitness walking to a
new level by adding poles to produce an incredible upper body workout.
This workout increases your endurance, strengthens your core, arms,
chest, back, buttocks and legs, improves your posture and flexibility
and takes stress off your ankle, knee and hip joints. Poles are
provided. All fitness levels are welcome. Will be back in Fall 2006.
