Solid Waste collects, transfers and disposes
of trash, processes green waste for compost,
recycles single-stream commingled recyclables,
and provides a state authorized e-waste
collection facility. It also sorts and sends
disposed items to reuse facilities instead of
landfills whenever possible.

The Sold Waste Management Recycling
Coordinator, Wes Thompson, will be
contacting Commercial Collection customers
to apprise them of the many recycling
options and variety of services available
through the City of Santa Monica's Solid
Waste Management Division such as food waste
recycling, and sidewalk pressure washing.
He will assist your business to achieve
recycling goals that will help the
environment, lower refuse costs and help the
City reach its sustainability goals.
